Samia - Phoenix, AZ

May was a busy month. It started with little Samia. You may remember her from an earlier shoot when she was 6 months old. Now she’s 1! Talk about time flying by. We met up at Historic Heritage Square downtown Phoenix. Happy Birthday Samia!

Off to the Races

I took a drive out to Apache Junction for the Wiener National Races for Linda (my favorite phlebotomist at United Blood Services) in April. This was the 2nd year that her dog Lady was racing. It was so much fun to watch the dogs race!

Lady was in 2nd place.

Lito & Lailah - Scottsdale, AZ

In March I got a chance to photograph Lito and his daughter Lailah. Watching the two of them interact is beautiful. Lito just adores his daughter and Lailah thinks the world of her father. We met at a small park down the road from their place in Scottsdale.

Nathaniel - Tempe, AZ

Later that month I had a secret shoot for little Nathaniel. His mom wanted to get some photographs done to surprise his Dad for his first Father’s Day. I met Mom and Nathaniel at their house in Tempe and then we moved to a local park because Dad was on his way home and we didn’t want to spoil the surprise.

One of my favorite shots!

Jeff & Shellie's Wedding - Phoenix, AZ

The next weekend we photographed Shellie & Jeff’s wedding at a private residence in Phoenix. This was a special wedding because Shellie is my sister-in-law. Thanks for allowing us to capture your wedding.

Welcome to the family Jeff!!

Kirsten - Senior Photos

The following day I met up with Kirsten at the Pioneer Living History Museum in North Phoenix for her Senior photos. It’s a great location dedicated to the preservation of America’s old west frontier heritage….plus there are lots of great places to shoot at! While it was a little toasty outside, we had a nice breeze that gave us some great “blown hair” effects.

Meet little Jake Michael

While he was born in May, due to a cold, I wasn’t able to meet little Jake Michael until late June. According to his parents, he’s been a fussy little guy so I was anticipating the shoot to be tough. After a bottle Jake was ready for his close-up!

Congrats Elisa & Michael!

Brent - Senior Photos

Early one Sunday morning in April I met Brent at Heritage Square for his senior photos. We then moved to a local basketball court and finished in a residential alley downtown Phoenix. Brent’s pretty shy when you first meet him but by the end of the shoot came out of his shell and even helped me “get the angle” I wanted by finding an old subwoofer to stand on.

I remember you!!

Hello blog! It's been a while. Having a child has really changed life and the blog took a backseat. First a personal update…

Evan will be 6 months old in just a few days…I’m amazed at how fast time is flying by.
